Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner was limited in practice Wednesday ahead of a Week 8 battle against the Minnesota Vikings.

The running back has not played the past two games, leaving the starting role to third-year pro Eno Benjamin.

Also limited was running back Darrel Williams, who likewise missed a loss to the Seattle Seahawks followed by a win last week against the New Orleans Saints.

Arizona kicker Matt Prater was limited with a hip injury. He is not yet ruled out from playing Sunday even though Arizona preemptively signed fellow kicker Rodrigo Blankenship to the active roster from the practice squad.

Out of practice Wednesday for the Cardinals (3-4) were starting center Rodney Hudson (knee), left tackle D.J. Humphries (back) and safety Jalen Thompson (calf). Pass-rusher Dennis Gardeck (ankle) and backup offensive guard Max Garcia (shoulder) also didn’t participate Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Minnesota listed one healthy player on the injury report. The 5-1 Vikings are healthy and coming off a bye week.
