Reports have claimed that Joe is ready to step back in the ring, and that the two vloggers would come to blows on an Evander Holyfield vs Glenn McCrory undercard.
However, Metro.co.uk understands from Joe’s management that there is no truth to this.
He later admitted he was ‘constantly’ reminded of the loss, explaining: ‘You work so hard aiming [for] only one outcome, you don’t consider losing.
‘On the night I essentially froze. It wasn’t like it was a close fight and he edged it or whatever. I just didn’t turn up, I was his punching bag.’
However, he’s certainly made the best of it, smashing it in his presenting career, even making an appearance at the recent Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr match.
‘LOST A FIGHT… …JUST PRESENTED A MIKE TYSON FIGHT,’ the 24-year-old said on Twitter.
Meanwhile, as part of the Tyson and Jones Jr undercard, Jake fought former NBA star Nate, knocking him out in the second round.
The 23-year-old said after the fight: ‘He was better than I expected. He was athletic, super strong, obviously.
‘I wanna say a thank you to Nate, he was the one that originally called me out, I respect him and his basketball career has been amazing.
‘I’ve been training my ass off for the past year. I’m taking this seriously.
‘There’s a long list of opponents that I want, Conor McGregor, Dillon Danis, I’m gonna knock them both out.
‘There’s my brother, there’s KSI on the line. I wanna be in this sport for a long time.’
Jake also previously fought KSI’s brother Deji and fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib.
His older brother Logan, meanwhile, fought KSI in 2018, with the match ending in a draw. He lost to the British YouTuber in their highly-anticipated rematch last year.
