Colby Covington is one of the most polarizing figures in MMA. Ever since his scathing interview in Brazil, ‘Chaos’ has been one of the most controversial athletes in the sport. He does not shy away from sharing his thoughts. While this makes for an exciting interview and is one of the reasons why fans love him, it has landed the former American Top Team fighter in trouble a few times.

Colby Covington vs LeBron James, anyone?

Colby Covington tweeted a few hours earlier, “Heard they finally scraped @nate_robinson’s carcass off the @staplescenter floor. I’d make @kingjames eat the canvas in half the amount of time. Everyone knows current @NBA players are the softest and most privileged athletes on the planet. #TysonJones #Facts

This past weekend, former NBA star Nate Robinson took on Jake Paul as the co-main event to Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. Robinson took on YouTuber Jake Paul, who knocked him out brutally in the second round of the fight.

‘Chaos’ has been wanting to fight LeBron James for a while now to settle the political differences between the two men. Whiles James has never responded to the call-outs, Covington is adamant on fighting one of the biggest names not in basketball.

Covington to settle beef with former friend-turned-rival Masvidal?

Covington recently fought and defeated former champion, Tyron Woodley, in devastating fashion. Since then he has turned his attention towards becoming the undisputed king of Miami by overthrowing his former friend and mentor in Jorge Masvidal

The fight was rumored to take place in December. However, at the start of the month, there have been no significant reports that the fight will take place this year.

It is almost certain that the fight will take place for sure next year. A fight between Masvidal and Covington added to the UFC 257 card would be explosive.
