We’re inching closer and closer to Ryan Finley time.
During a regular week, if an NFL team’s quarterback hasn’t practiced by Friday, that would mean he won’t play.
For the Cincinnati Bengals, they have one more practice on Saturday before their Monday night matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers to see if Brandon Allen (knee) will be able to play with his bone bruise. Reports from Friday’s practice state that Allen was walking with a limp, so that’s obviously not a good sign if he wants to play in three days.
Allen and Logan Wilson (ankle) were the only two players not to practice on Friday and will likely be the only two not able to play on the active roster.
Brandon Wilson (hamstring) was the only limited participant as he was limited for the second-straight day. This means that Bobby Hart (back) went full on Friday after being limited on Thursday.
As a side note, Joe Mixon (foot) was seen at practice mingling with other players. According to ESPN’s Ben Baby, this was the first time in a while that Mixon was seen at practice. As a reminder, Mixon was not taken off the Reserve/Injured list this week.

The Steelers got mostly good news from their practice as well. QB Ben Roethlisberger returned after a rest day on Thursday, and Sean Davis (illness) returned as well. RB James Conner (quadriceps) was limited and OL Kevin Dotson (shoulder) did not practice.
