The official trailer for A Christmas Story Christmas has debuted!
Here’s a summary of the upcoming movie: adult Ralphie “returns to the house on Cleveland Street to deliver his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had growing up. With the same attention-to-real-life tone of the first, Ralphie reconnects with childhood friends, reconciles the passing of his Old Man and sows the seeds for the origins of the beloved holiday classic.”
Speaking to People, Peter teased what Ralphie has been up to since the original film.
He’s “not really where he wants to be in his life but he’s still a dreamer, so he still has these fantasies of what his life could be, where it could go,” Peter shared. “Tthen he’s called home with some real responsibilities and burdens.”

A Christmas Story Christmas, which will also see the return of Ian Petrella, Zack Ward, Scott Schwartz and R.D. Robb, will premiere on November 17 on HBO Max.
