The Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints hit the practice field for the first time on Tuesday with a short week leading to their primetime game Thursday.
Neither team practiced on Monday but did post official injury reports with a large number of DNP and limited designations.
Notably for Arizona, starting receiver Marquise Brown and starting guard Justin Pugh are listed as out. Pugh’s season is over due to an ACL injury, head coach Kliff Kingsbury said, while Brown could reportedly miss at least six weeks after suffering a foot fracture.
Other starters listed as non-participants for the second straight day were running back James Conner (ribs), kicker Matt Prater (hip) and center Rodney Hudson (knee).
Safety Jalen Thompson (hamstring), however, was upgraded to limited on Tuesday.
For New Orleans, quarterbacks Andy Dalton (back) and Jameis Winston (back/ankle) were both listed as limited for the second consecutive practice.
Safety Marcus Maye (rib) was a full participant on Tuesday after being listed as limited on Monday.
Starting receivers Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle), plus offensive guard Andrus Peat (guard) and cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) are among the key players listed as out completely.
